Turkey-Greece: military dialogue at NATO resumes

Military delegations from Greece and Turkey will resume technical talks next week at NATO general headquarters in Brussels, said security sources in Ankara.

The talks are aimed at developing dialogue tools to avoid risks of incidents in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The dialogue, which has been suspended since the start of October, is therefore expected to resume just days ahead of the resumption, after nearly five years, of “exploratory talks” between the two countries on disputes in the Mediterranean and other bilateral disputes.

Those talks are scheduled to resume on January 25 in Istanbul.
